Dr. Belcher

Dr. Belcher is proud to offer Upstate South Carolina a new concierge at home veterinary service. She has over 15 years of global veterinary experience and dedicates her knowledge and passion for all animal species. Dr. Belcher builds an exceptional rapport with her clients and patients because she is kind, dependable, and compassionate. Dr. Belcher graduated from Clemson University and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. She has also gained additional training and professional growth at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, the Smithsonian Institute for endangered species, and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine as well as many zoological parks and small animal private practices around the world. She has authored four globally published scientific publications. Dr. Belcher enjoys being the Veterinarian for many different entities such as K-9 working dogs, South Carolina Veterinary Forensics, and a founding member of South Carolina’s Street Dog Coalition helping homeless pet populations in Upstate, South Carolina. Dr. Belcher has over 10 years of experience responding to local, state, interstate, and global natural disasters helping people and animals. She is often seen assisting first responders in agencies across the state of South Carolina. During her free time, Dr. Belcher enjoys golfing, flying in small planes, fishing, kayaking, and cheering on Clemson Tigers. 

In September 2024 Dr. Belcher was the lead Veterinarian for Hurricane Helene and Milton Red Cross Human-Pet (multiple species) housing shelters. She assisted pilots and ground crew with acquiring and loading life saving medical and nutritional supplies for 100 volunteer flights to 15 airports among South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.
